Sikder Insurance Company Limited (SICL) is one of the fast-growing private sector non-life insurance companies in Bangladesh. It was incorporated as a public limited company on 29 July 2013 under the Companies Act, 1994 and obtained permission from the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) the same day to run all types of general insurance business other than life.
SICL is committed to providing high-quality service, maximum security at minimum cost, and prompt claim settlement. The company is chaired by Nasim Sikder and led operationally by Chief Executive Officer Sk. Abdur Rafique. An extensive branch network covers Dhaka and districts across the country, with reinsurance arrangements with reputed local and overseas companies.
SICL underwrites fire, marine cargo and hull, motor, miscellaneous, aviation, overseas mediclaim and engineering insurance for individuals and corporate clients.
